We are looking for CNC MACHINISTS! -- 1st Shift CNC Lathe: M-F (7:30am-4pm) -- 2nd Shift CNC Lathe: M-F (4pm-12:30pm) -- 2nd Shift CNC Mill: M-F (4pm-12:30pm) Pay: $23/HR - $30/HR DOE SUMMARY: The CNC Machinist will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the setup, operation and care of HAAS CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to perform the following: -- Verify your own work using, Micrometers and Gages, Height gage and Caliper -- Multi-task, take initiative, and communicate clearly with your team and management -- Composite experience is a plus KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: -- Machinist will operate and maintain lathe/ milling machines. Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes is required. 5 axis experience is a plus. -- Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production. -- Ability to take precise measurements for cutting or shaping using standard SMI, calipers, mics, and height gages. -- Maintain inventory of completed products. -- Possess attention to detail and accuracy while checking output for quality assurance and document or discard defects. -- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirement, in the aerospace industry is a plus.
