Job Description:
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive
Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, Apple Valley,
California. Job Description & Requirements
Start date: 4/14 ONLY
Shift: 3x12 variable or straight nights
Years of experience REQ: 2 years NICU level 4
Weekend REQ: Yes, must be available to work weekends with full
flexibility to be scheduled when needed (no specific weekend
requirement)
National Certs REQ: BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS preferred
Special Requirements:
--- CA License
--- Cardiac experience
--- 2 years of recent Level 4 experience
--- Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3
NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
--- Will consider strong 1st time traveler
--- BLS
--- Advanced NRP
--- Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU
satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas,
Scripps La Jolla, and Scripps Mercy)
--- Must have own transportation
--- Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal
Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines,
trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must be comfortable with line
changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care.
--- Flu shot during flu season
